Connection Guide

Note: In order to use HomeLand's online features, the player must have completed at least one scenario within single-player mode. Video playthroughs of various quests can be found at the LongplayArchive YouTube channel.

Follow these simple steps to connect your Nintendo GameCube or Emulator to our custom matchmaking server.

Changing DNS Settings

Set your DNS server to 66.154.115.128 using the steps for your platform below.
Note: If using the untranslated Japanese game, some options must be confirmed with はい (Yes).

GameCube (BBA):
Main Menu → Online (γƒγƒƒγƒˆγƒ―γƒΌγ‚―) → Network Setup (γƒγƒƒγƒˆγ›γ£γ¦γ„) → Scroll to bottom → Agree (εŒζ„γ™γ‚‹) → Select Memory Card → DHCP Connection (DHCPで぀γͺぐ) → Set DNS Setting (DNSァーバをドレス取得) to Manual (手動) → Enter 66.154.115.128 as Primary DNS (γƒ—γƒ©γ‚€γƒžγƒͺDNS), leave Secondary DNS (セカンダγƒͺDNS) as 0.0.0.0 → Save (γ‚»γƒΌγƒ–) → Confirm with Yes (はい).

Dolphin (HLE):
Config → GameCube → Device Settings → SP1 → Broadband Adapter (HLE) → Enter 66.154.115.128.

Dolphin (TAP):
First create a TAP network in your device settings, then:
Config → GameCube → Device Settings → SP1 → Broadband Adapter (TAP).
Then in-game follow the same DNS steps as GameCube (BBA) above.

Wii / Wii U:
Wii Menu → Wii Options → Wii Settings → Internet → Connection Settings → Your active connection → Change Settings → Set Auto-Obtain DNS to No → Advanced Settings → Primary DNS: 66.154.115.128, Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0.

Enabling the Matching Server

The connection mode must be set to Matching Server (γƒžγƒƒγƒγƒ³γ‚°γ‚΅γƒΌγƒγƒΌ) and NOT IP Address (IPをドレス). Matching Server is enabled by default, however, if you have changed it to IP Address mode for any reason (such as using a save file from the internet with online mode already unlocked), you will have to change it back.

To change the connection mode, go up to the Angel in your room, pick Talk (いう), and type οΌƒγ›γ€γžγγγ‚Šγ‹γˆ (*SWITCHCON if using the translation).

Testing Your Connection

Main Menu → Online (γƒγƒƒγƒˆγƒ―γƒΌγ‚―) → Connection Test (γ›γ€γžγγƒ†γ‚Ήγƒˆ).
Online Adventure (γƒγƒƒγƒˆγ§γΌγ†γ‘γ‚“) should show Available (できます) if connected successfully.
God Play (かみさまプレむ) will also show Available if port forwarding is enabled, allowing you to host HomeLands.

Hosting a HomeLand

Creating a HomeLand requires port forwarding to be enabled on port 9003 (which can be easily checked with the Connection Test). You will need to have unlocked the God Mascot (かみさま) first, then transform into it and go up to the Angel.

Speak (γŸγšγγ‚‹) → Go to Endeparna (γ„γ›γ‹γ„γΈγ„γγ„γŸγ—γΎγ—) → God Play (かみさまプレむ) → Create a HomeLand (ホームランドを぀くる)

After confirming, you will be taken to the Matching Server menu, where you can set:
Location (しょざいけ): Continent (γŒγ„γ“γ), or Nationwide (γœγ‚“γ“γ) / Worldwide.
Password (あいことば): Limits player entry (not recommended).
Comment (γ‚³γƒ‘γƒ³γƒˆ): Visible to players before joining (256 chars max, can be changed later).
Start Time: Now (いますぐ) or up to one hour in the future. Early joiners meet in the Ark/Hakobune (γ‚’γƒΌγ‚―) lobby.
Repeat (γγ‚Šγ‹γˆγ—): Auto-creates another HomeLand after the current one ends (off by default).

Click on Confirm (γ“γ‚Œγ§OK) to go live!

Joining a HomeLand

Joining a HomeLand

To join a HomeLand, all you need is a regular Mascot and to have completed at least one Quest. Transform into your Mascot and go up to the Angel.

Speak (γŸγšγγ‚‹) → Go to Endeparna (γ„γ›γ‹γ„γΈγ„γγ„γŸγ—γΎγ—) → Online Adventure (かみさまプレむ) → Find a HomeLand (ホームランドを぀くる)

Once again, you will be taken to the Matching Server menu. You can filter results by:
Region (けいき) / Distance (はんい)
Name (γͺまえ) / Players (さんかしゃ)
Active (けいか) / Has Password (あいことば)
Sort (ゆうせんど)

Players have the option to display results from their region first, only (unadvised), or unsorted by region. Searching by Asia includes Japanese HomeLands, marked as Asia (Japan) in the translation.

Pick Confirm (γ“γ‚Œγ§OK) to begin searching and available HomeLands will be displayed.

Notes

Notes

  • Earlier versions of the translation use Online/Offline instead of Available/Unavailable.
  • Until the translation is adjusted, to search by continent, Foreign, the option second from bottom on the prefecture list, will have to be selected first.
  • You cannot host with Dolphin (HLE) with the current stable Dolphin release. A patch is being developed to fix this and will be merged into mainline Dolphin soon.
